Steampunk is a Victorian aesthetic which adds whimsical and elegant creativity to modern creations. The Steampunk World’s Fair, the world’s largest Steampunk event, is teaming up with Warmer Winters, a Massachusetts-based charity which does good work directly by actually making warm clothes for the homeless. They’re bringing you a massive Steampunk Vendor Fair in Boxborough, MA, with wares for all manner of people, of all ages and interests! Admission is FREE, though you can choose to make a donation if you want. Come see a vast assortment of vendors with new and unique items – talk to makers, authors, and artists – and have a wonderful time!

VENDORS: Want to be part of a well-publicized FREE-admittance vendor Faire in the holiday season, in a lovely part of New England? An application and more details regarding vending fees can be found here.
Please contact [email protected] with vending questions.

warmerwintersbannerWarmer Winters is going into its 11th season as an all-volunteer non-profit organization. Their mission is to gift warmth to people in need and, empower the volunteers who feel a sense of purpose being able to contribute. Everything gifted is either knit or crocheted by volunteers. Volunteers receive yarn free, so even people who are in need themselves can know they are making a difference.

Warmer Winters also teaches knitting to children, the elderly, and individuals with developmental disabilities. It’s empowering and enjoyable for them.

Last season they gifted 3,500 items. This year they hope to increase that number, with YOUR help!. Warmer Winters gifts primarily to North Central MA, but they are expanding into Worcester and Boston.
